Variety in the EU – 28 countries, 24 official languages, 507 mln of inhabitants. The sole statistics give an idea how the European Union is varied, not only taking into account the number of Member States but also diversity of legal, social and economic orders, as well as cultures and religions. In the EU, this variety is recognized, what is reflected i.a. in the preamble of the Treaty of European Union, where the reference was made to the cultural, religious and humanistic heritage of Europe.

The EU of varieties – within the framework of the European Union, different attitudes, identifies and opinions are agreed. Although not everybody accept such a shape of the EU, the integration despite all differences was always one of the goals of the organization. What is more, the EU is also successful on the grounds of the protection of cultural minorities, rights of migrants and in the field of filling different types of gaps between the EU citizens.
This Conference is supposed to be the interdisciplinary forum for exchange of opinions on subjects of the European Union variety, as well as interest various academic centers in the problems of differences in the EU.

The conference fee for active participants is 30 zł. For participants passive participation is free of charge. 

The Organizers don't cover the costs of transport to the conference venue and accommodation.
