You are invited to participate in a research study to study how and why academics and students use online social and professional networking sites. The purpose of this research study is to understand what motivates academics and students to use online networking sites and the extent to their use. If you agree to take part in this study, you will be requested to access the survey online at www.inlcs.org/survey and asked to complete a questionnaire. You can participate in the study at your convenience; the entire procedure will take approximately 10 minutes.
Your information is confidential and your answers will not be linked to you. For data storage purposes, no personal information will be stored with your questionnaire responses. Your input is very important to us and will be kept strictly confidential (used only for the purposes of research for this project).
